Hello and welcome to ThisIsBracketRacing.com. My name is Luke Bogacki, and I’m your head instructor, so to speak. You can click on my bio to get some information to validate that position, but it doesn’t really matter. I’m not here because I think I’m the greatest racer to ever put on a helmet. I’m not, and won’t claim to be. I’m here because I do race for a living, and I have been fairly successful, and I do firmly believe that I can help you to become a better bracket racer. That’s what this site is all about: learning, opening our minds, and challenging ourselves to get better. I think I can help you with that learning curve (along the way, I will no doubt learn and improve myself).
Within the monthly columns on this site, I will explain more deeply what I mean. We’ll discuss basic race strategy, and what winners do that average racers don’t. We’ll go over basic “game plans” that the majority of racers live by (and there are a lot of ways to approach what in theory should be a simple game). Then we’ll teach you how to employ the appropriate strategy for each round of competition: a strategy that will allow you to capitalize on your strengths, and expose your opponents weaknesses.
As your head instructor, I will post a column each month (posted on the 1st) on various topics related to bracket racing strategy. Some of the columns will build on one another, and some will stand alone. Granted, some of the points I harp on will seem elementary, but generally that will serve as basic groundwork for a more in depth theory. I welcome feedback (that’s the fun part because that’s what opens my mind and makes me think, which in turn lets me learn along with everyone else), and every two weeks I will select one subscribers question and answer it to the best of my ability in the ‘JEGS Q&A’. Throughout the season, we will also have a number of guest editorials (a new guest tutorial column will post every other month). In these columns, guest instructors (some of the very best racers in the world) will share assorted views once again, all related to race strategy in an effort to broaden each subscribers horizons and create better racers.
Additionally, we are proud to host what I believe is the most comprehensive sportsman racing schedule available on the internet. We list events throughout the nation; including every NHRA and IHRA national and divisional event, as well as the vast majority of big dollar ($5,000-to-win or more) bracket races from coast to coast.
As an added feature, we’ve created the BTE sportsman “Power Rankings.” These rankings are based on results of the events on our comprehensive schedule, and for the first time stacks class and index racers and pure bracket racers against one another. Peter Biondo’s Super Stock victories vs. Scotty Richardson’s bracket triumph’s; Anthony Bertozzi’s IHRA dominance against the NHRA accomplishments of Dan Fletcher; against every serious bracket racer in the country all in an effort to settle the age old debate and determine just who is the best of the best.
We’re offering annual subscriptions for just $119. Sure, it’s a fair amount of money. But if you can take one point from the tutorials within this site; any one thing; and use it help you win one round; any one round; it’s paid for itself (and in many cases several times over). I think we can help you to win that round, and many more. For those of you on the fence, we're also offering a 3-month trial subscription for $45. Give it a look for the reduced price, then determine if an annual subscription is worthwhile. We’re confident it will be.
Once you subscribe and become a member of ThisIsBracketRacing.com, you will access to the entire site, which includes the monthly tutorial columns, the guest editorials, the comprehensive schedule, the BTE power rankings, and the bi-weekly JEGS Question & Answer sessions.
